A behavioural consult is an excellent way to gain knowledge and insights into your dog's behavior. I will come to assess your dog, address any problem behaviors, and suggest management, training, and behavioral modification options.
After the consult, you will receive a report summarizing everything we discussed, including management strategies, training tips, and behavioral modification information.
Our behavioral consults cover a wide range of problem behaviors and issues, including:
- Jumping up
- Digging
- Barking
- Reactivity to people, dogs, or specific objects
- Destructive behaviors
- Behavioral changes
- Chewing
- Nipping and mouthing behaviors
- Toilet training
A behavioral consult can also help with:

Behavioral problems can be complex and often stem from various factors such as your dog's age, prior experiences, training history, and environmental influences. Since each dog is unique and perceives experiences differently, we take an individualized approach to each case to better support you and your dog. We look forward to hearing from you.
Our behavioral consults are priced at $220.00 for a 1.5-2 hour session, and any follow-up consults are $130.00.
Behaviour Modification Package for more Complex Behavioural Issues
A behavioral modification package is an excellent option for working through complex behavioral issues such as reactivity, barking, resource guarding, and separation anxiety. This package is tailored to your dog's individual needs and is designed to support you throughout the behavior modification process.
After our initial consult, you will receive a comprehensive report summarizing our discussion and outlining the plan for the remaining sessions. You'll also have access to phone and email support throughout the process to ensure you're making progress and receiving the additional support you need to address complex behavioral issues effectively.
Complex behavioral issues can include:
- Separation anxiety
- Resource guarding
- OCD behaviors
- Stress
- Fears and phobias
- Barking and noise complaints
- Reactivity to other dogs, people, or specific objects
The price for our behavioral modification packages is $220 for the initial consult and $95 for additional one-hour training sessions.
Our private behaviour consults are $220 (1.5 hour-2 hours) for the first session and $130 for each subsequent session (1 -1.5 hour).
